The information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill in a form on this site (for example to book a demo, request free marketing, or become a partner), we collect the details you provide, which may include your name, business email address, phone number, business name, business type, website address and a description of your marketing challenge or enquiry.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site we collect certain information automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Payment information
If you purchase our services, payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details on our systems.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry, book your demo and set up your account;
- To provide and operate our software and marketing services;
- To send you service updates and, where permitted, marketing communications about our services (you can opt out at any time);
- To measure the performance of our website and advertising;
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
Legal bases
We process personal data under UK GDPR on the following bases: contract (to provide services you’ve requested), consent (for example, marketing where required), and legitimate interests (responding to business enquiries, improving our website and services, and securing the site).
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, including:
- Google (Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Google Ads) — website analytics and advertising measurement;
- Microsoft (Microsoft Advertising) — advertising measurement;
- Cloudflare — content delivery, security and spam protection (Turnstile);
- Stripe — payment processing;
- Microsoft Azure — website hosting;
- Email and communication providers we use to respond to your enquiries.
These providers act under contracts that restrict how they may use your data. Some are located outside the UK; where data is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and lead details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and record-keeping. Customer account and billing records are kept for the duration of our relationship and as required by law (typically six years for financial records). Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the relevant provider.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email Contact@bestatservices.com.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable hosting infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Children
Our website and services are aimed at businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
